Chad brought the meeting to order at 7:00p.m. we all recited the Pledge of Allegiance. There were ( 4 )board members and (21 ) Members attend the meeting.
OLD BUSINESS : From the last meeting. The minutes were read and accepted by the members.
- NEW BUSINESS: Dues: The dues for 2024 will be $25.00 p.p. Still a great bargain. We will start collecting dues at our January meeting. Cash is preferred bu if you pay by check make payable to Harlem Valley Car Club. Please place all dues in an envelope with your name and the amount on it. Thanks. Still a great bargain for the amount.
CHILI COOK OFF: was a great success thanks to all.
- NOTICE. THERE WILL LONGER BE A MAKE UP CRUISE ON THURSDAYS IF WE GET RAINED OUT ON WEDNESDAY. Outing to “
- THE NEW ENGLAND AIR MUSEUM”. This event will be on April 7th. This was a great event for all who attended. The weather was great , the ride up to Conn. was very scenic and the museum was well worth the trip. The restaurant was a shor ride and the food and service was very good. We all had a good time. If you did not attend you missed a nice day. Thanks to all.
ROADWAY CLEANUP: Sunday April 28th ON THE ROAD at 10:00am .Everything needed will be provided all we need is your body to help

.KICKOFF SEASON PICNIC: May 19, Sunday at 1:00pm. This is catered which includes everything EXCEPT you beverage of choice.The event is at the pavilion at BOYCE PARK in Wingdale.All are welcome.Bring the grandkids. Cost for adults $25 pp notice on head count will be by e mail closer to the event.little kids eat free 10 and under.The park is great for all to enjoy lots for kids to do.public bathrooms will be available. This is a rain OR shine event.
. First cruise: April 17th 5:00pm Same place , downtown Pawling.
- CRUISE LOCATION: Our new cruise location , downtown Pawling, was welcomed by the town fathers and the store tenants the cost per person will be posted asap please response when they are for a head count.
- ADOPT A HIGHWAY program want well. There were 14 members who took place. We collected a lot of trash and ticks. All are ok. Our sign has not been erected yet but expect to see it within the next few week, we hope. Thanks. Mike for putting in the time to set thus up.
- DOVER DAY: September 21. More info when we get close to the event.
- COPAKE CAMPGROUND PICNIC/CAR SHOW. August 10th great club event. More details as we get close to the date.All we need is good weather!
- HIGH MILEAGE CONTEST: to be brought up at May meeting
- CLUB SOAP : The club has its own brand of soap for sale. It is a great soap for clean-up of hands after working on your ride. It is similar to lava soap but not as harsh on your hands. It’s available at the meetings and at thisgether years cruises.
- SPONSORS: Club sponsors are very important to the club in raising funds to say the least.Without them the club can not afford to provide its community support.We appreciate every sponsor we have. Remember support our sponsors like they support us. Chad is now in charge of renewing the sponsor support for the 2021 year. He ask for any volunteers to help him but non responded. If any member would like to help with this important task please contact Chad.
- LICANCE PLATE FRAMES: The FRAMES are available at the weekly cruise. Cost: $25.00 each, a great way to promote the club.
- WHAT'S FOR SALE: We do have this category on our web site for use of any member who would like to post a ad. Just contact Jim at jiminconn@hotmail.com with the GENERAL DISCUSSIONS:
- GENERAL: We will be making our yearly contributions to: The food bank in Pawling and in Dover Plains. This year the amount to each will be $500.00. We also will donate $400.00 to the WINGDALE VFW. thank you VFW for the use of the meeting hall we’re we hold our monthly meeting and events. The SCHOLARSHIP FUND will receive $250.00 This is to a student pursuing the automotive field. YEARBOOK DONATION will receive three installment totaling $415.00 . RACE TEAM: we sponsor will receive two payment totaling $500.00. “NOT BAD FOR A CAR CLUB FROM WIGDALE.”
